-set time to 1:59 and the date to ur inputed birthday wait 1 minute until 2:00 and ur tamagotchi will start
 singing, wathing tv or practice running [or drinking tea]
 
on ur birthday a cake will show on screen and it will say happy birthday

The codes I gave are for V2 US (north America). V3 codes are here now, and if you have a V1 tamagotchi, www.google.com will help you find them. Remeber to press the A button 3 times at the shop, or until the shopkeeper raises his arms and looks surprised. I hope this helps. If not, please email again (your tamagotchi version and country).

I don't know but they say you can do surgery on your tama. I don't advise it because you can wreck your tamagotchi, but if you are brave enough and interested, go to www.tamatalk.com for details or search it on the Internet. Try typing: tamagotchi surgery. I don't know if the surgery works....
